Week Fourteen
14.1 Received a message from someone on the free site, asking about my book... Though it's entirely possible that I'm just a little paranoid at this point, the message didn't make small talk at all. Simply asked if I could tell him what my novel's about, and whether or not I've had any luck finding a publisher as he's an aspiring writer as well. I'm cagey with details about my book with people I know and love! I'm not entirely comfortable dishing it all to a random stranger. lol.
Anywhom... Didn't get a chance to get on and actually check the matches this weekend as it was a wee bit busy. May get there today, but I'm not holding my breath. Also didn't get out with Awesome this weekend, so we're going out tonight.
In further response to Anonymous on last week's posting... When and if Awesome becomes a "full attention" deal, I will stop writing this blog. It's one thing to detail the routines and differences between online dating sites - it's quite another to give a play-by-play of my own relationships. So... who knows? This may be the last week for NGandB (this go-round, anyways). However, as I know that I am ridiculous, I kind of doubt it. Just a little.
In any case, the only message received the last couple of days was from the gentleman inquiring about my book.
14.2 I think there might be something wrong with me because I went out with Awesome last night and all I could focus on was the fact that he talked through the entire movie. That is, honestly, all I was thinking about.
14.3 Had a few communications come in over the past few days, but haven't had a chance to read em yet. Mayhaps this evening. Busy, busy, busy. This really is not a good time to consider dating.
Maybe I ought to hiatus-ize the blog for a bit. Will consider that this week.
14.4 Decision has been made - the blog will be put on hiatus for awhile. I received some astounding news today, that will lead to me being quite busy for the next few months. Of everything that's balancing on my plate, I've decided to put the dating life on hold to make room.
